COVID-19: What measures apply to entering the country?
As of April 7, those entering the country (both residents and visitors) will no longer be required to take the PCR test.
Argentines, and those residing in the country, must:
- Complete the Affidavit at least 48 hours before the trip.
Those who enter the country for a period of less than 24 hours will be exempted. and do it by land.
Non-resident foreigners must:
- Complete the Affidavit at least 48 hours before the trip.
- Submit COVID-19 health insurance (Coverage for hospitalization, isolation and/or medical transfer services).
Those who enter the country for a period of less than 24 hours will be exempted. and do it by land.
Those non-resident foreigners of Ukrainian nationality or from that country, while they remain in a transitory migratory situation, must have COVID-19 health insurance if they do not have any other form of health coverage.
Recommendations for those entering the country
People who have an incomplete vaccination schedule are recommended to undergo a diagnostic test within 24 hours after entering the country.
If a positive or suspected case of COVID 19 is detected or reported at the point of entry, the Contingency Plan for that Point of Entry will be activated.

Is it possible to have a COVID-19 test at the airport?
Covid test at the airport. It is located in the pre-check-in area in Terminal A during 24 hours.
- If you travel outside the country, it is important that you verify with your airline which test will be requested to enter your destination.
- Crewmembers and passengers with flights on the day have priority of attention. (Present document and ticket.)
- Attention is non-shift for 24 hours, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

What is the most economical way to get to Palermo or downtown Buenos Aires?
The urban bus is the budget option of transportation to reach or leave the Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Airport. Bus lines 160 and 37 run to Plaza Italia (Palermo district) and Lanus among other destinations. Bus lines 45 and 33 run to Retiro, Microcentro (downtown), La Boca, among other areas. Where to wait for Uber or Cabify?
Passengers must wait for Uber or Cabify at the Parking Sur exit (near departures of all domestic flights). Due to the inconveniences recorded with taxis, you may be limited to ordering an Uber within the airport. In this case you can type in the application “JetPaq” (on Costanera Avenue) as a pick up location, which is the closest point to the airport. Or just exit the terminal towards the Avenue and walk about 100 meters and make the request.
Is it possible to get a SIM card at the airport?
There is a store of Personal (one of the cell phone providers company) on the ground floor of the domestic arrivals hall, right in the food court area. There you can buy a “chip” (SIM) from this company.
How to get from Aeroparque to Ezeiza Airport?
Manuel Tienda Leon has a shuttle service departing from Aeroparque (AEP) to Ezeiza Airport every 30 minutes (from 10am to 6pm) and every 1 hour the rest of the day. Ticket can be purchased in the public hall of the A1 and A2 landings. Learn more
Is it open 24 hours?
Jorge Newbery Metropolitan Airport is open 24 hours a day. Some cafes are open at night, such as Havanna Café and Starbucks, as well as Mc Donald’s and the 25-hour Open convenience store.
How to process the passport Express?
Jorge Newbery metropolitan airport has the Express Passport service for passengers with Argentine citizenship. You can process it instantly and in just 2 hours you will have your passport. You must go with your Argentinian ID to the Domestic Arrivals hall (A2).
How long it takes: The process takes 15 minutes. With this instant mode, delivery will be in 2/6 hours. The issuance is subject to the verification of the documentation and the approval of external controls.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 08h00 to 14h00 and from 14h30 to 20h30; Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 09h00 to 19h00. The cost of the procedure is 25,000 pesos- (4,000 pesos passport fee + 21,000 pesos additional fee for immediate resolution passport processing). It can only be paid by credit card.
What to do in case of loss of valuables or luggage?
In case of loss of documentation or belongings within the terminal building or in parking areas, you should contact the Airport Security Police (PSA) for the Lost and Found Area, Office in Sector C, Monday to Friday from 9 am to 1pm. Is there a luggage storage service?
At this time the Aeroparque does not have luggage storage service. Alternatively, Luggage Storage BA provides baggage care services. Its warehouse is located in the Palermo district, near the airport, and provides a shuttle service.
How much does it cost to park at the airport
The parking lot has both covered and open-air parking spaces. Spaces are subject to availability. Reservations are not available. See rates and more details
Are there banking services in Aeroparque?
There are Hsbc ATMs on the top floor of the public area and a Banco Nacion branch on the ground floor, public hall, domestic boarding area.
Are there pharmacies?
In the Public hall there is a Farmacity open daily from 7am to 11pm.
