Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (IATA: AEP), originally opened on October 22, 1947 and reopened in March 2021 after a year of runway and facility expansions, serves the Buenos Aires area and is the most important domestic airport in Argentina. In addition to domestic flights, it also serves regional destinations (Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia). 14.9 million passengers passed through Aeroparque in 2024.

It is located in the northwest area of Buenos Aires, on Costanera Avenue next to the Río de la Plata, just 2 km (1.2 miles) from the tourist center of Palermo. (View Map)
